The price of going out in Barcelona these days and enjoying this beautiful city seems to be constantly going up.
I had a simple, basic lunch in the city center yesterday with a drink and it cost me about €12.
In many cases our beloved Barca is more expensive than major German cities like Cologne and Berlin.
This especially seems expensive when you realize that right now with budget airlines, you can fly to exciting cities like Cologne, Berlin, Rome and others for prices starting from as low as €10
At this point you have to ask yourself - which is better value? A flight to another country, or lunch?
And it's a great question to have to ask yourself!
I don't think flights have ever been so cheap in history, have they?
These prices probably won't stay around for long given that fuel prices are about to go up and I can't see these airlines surviving long term with such low prices.
So go on, treat yourself and give yourself something to look forward to next weekend!

I love the raucous humour and warmth of the locals and the passion that comes out of their mouths with every sentence.
