The above video makes Airbnb look expensive for budget travelers, but actually, there are nice, clean, comfortable homes for as little as $13. It all depends on how much competition there is. The more people offering spaces in a particular city, the lower the prices become :) When I can't find free accommodation through couchsurfing and don't feel like a dorm bed, this is my go to place for a nice, comfortable, private room at a good price.
